the natalie beissel scholarship honors natalie who was a fourth year medical student at ATSU's SOMA before her life was taken tragically in an act of domestic violence.

Her GPA was in the top 10% of her class and she planned to pursue Internal Medicine Residency Programs at the time of her death. She was well respected by both her superiors and classmates for her leadership and interpersonal skills. This award honors Natalie's dedication to the study of the human body and her passion for caring for others.

The scholarship is to provide financial assistance to a 3rd or 4th year medical students. Love Conquers Violence is currently partnering with ATSU School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona (SOMA) to award an annual scholarship in honor of Natalie to a student currently enrolled in their program.
